| Effect of Metoprolol in the treatment of acute heart failure complicated with atrial fibrillation and its influence on cardiac function |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of Metoprolol in the treatment of acute heart failure complicated with atrial fibrillation and its influence on cardiac function.Methods Clinical data of 120 patients with acute heart failure complicated with atrial fibrillation in Panjin Central Hospital from December 2017 to December 2018 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into the control group and the treatment group according to different treatment methods,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with deacetylcamoside Injection and Nitroglycerin Injection,and treatment group was treated with Metoprolol on the basis of control group.The total effective rate, the incidence of adverse reactions, the improvement of cardiac function indexes before and after treatment, the quality of life score, the disappearance time of heart failure symptoms, the return time of electrocardiogram results and the total time of hospitalization were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).After treatment, the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD) and left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD)of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group,the quality of life scale(SF-36)score and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The time of symptom disappearance, electrocardiogram results return to normal and total hospitalization time in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Treatment with Metoprolol in patients with acute heart failure combined with atrial fibrillation can greatly improve cardiac function, reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions, effectively shorten the time for disease control and the length of hospital stay of patients, and improve clinical efficacy and quality of life.
