| Clinical effect of Shenling Hewei Decoction combined with western medicine on treating gastric ulcer |

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of Shenling Hewei Decoction combined with western medicine on treating gastric ulcer.MethodsFrom April 2015 to February 2017,124 patients with gastric ulcer treated in our hospital were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group by odd/even numbers.Patients in the control group were treated with triple therapy,while in the observation group,they were provided with Shenling Hewei Decoction and western medicine.The treatment effect,the clearance rate of Helicobacter pylori(Hp),the recurrence rate after 6 months,and the incidence rate of adverse reaction were compared in the two groups.ResultsThe total effective rate in the observation group was 95.2%,which was higher than that in the control group(83.9%),with significant difference(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the clearance rate of Hp between the two groups after treatment(P＞0.05).The recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with significant difference (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reaction between the two groups (P＞0.05).ConclusionThe effect of combination of Shenling Hewei Decoction and western medicine on treating gastric ulcer is remarkable,with low incidence rate of adverse reactions,which is worthy of promotion.
