| Clinical effect of special repair measures in oral repair of mandibular single jaw total denture |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of special repair measures in oral repair of mandibular single jaw total denture.Methods From February 2018 to February 2020,100 patients with oral repair of mandibular single jaw total denture admitted to Liaoning Health Industry Group Iron Coal General Hospital were selected as the research objects.They were divided into observation group(50 cases)and control group(50 cases)according to the random grouping method of single or double number. Patients in the control group were treated with traditional repair measures, while those in the observation group were treated with special repair measures. Dental function scores, success rate of repair, incidence of complications, satisfaction with chewing ability, satisfaction with stability, satisfaction with aesthetics and satisfaction with comfort were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of speech function, chewing function,swallowing function, chewing ability satisfaction, stability satisfaction, aesthetic satisfaction, comfort satisfaction and repair success rate of patients in the observation group after treatment were all higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of special repair measures in the oral repair of mandibular single jaw total denture can improve the appearance satisfaction and comfort satisfaction of patients, as well as the masticatory function of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
