Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effect of biofeedback on pelvic floor flaccid constipation and its effect on patients′ quality of life. Methods A total of 80 patients with pelvic floor flaccid constipation admitted to Beijing Anorectal Hospital from December 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into the control group (40 cases) and the experimental group (40 cases) by random number table method. The control group was treated with surgery and the experimental group was treated with biofeedback therapy.Clinical constipation symptom scores,self-rating quality of life scale scores and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, clinical constipation symptom scores in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The score of quality of life in experimental group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of experimental group was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Biofeedback therapy in the treatment of pelvic floor flaccid constipation can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, improve their quality of life and treatment efficiency, which is worthy of promotion and application.
