Abstract Diabetic nephropathy is a chronic kidney disease caused by diabetes.At present,the incidence of the disease is increasing rapidly.However,its pathogenesis is complex and the mechanism of the renal injury has not been completely discovered,so there is a lack of effective therapeutic drugs and means in clinical practice.Current studies suggest that it is closely related to heredity,abnormal glucose metabolism,abnormal lipid metabolism,microcirculation disorder,cytokine action,oxidative stress and other aspects.In this paper,the researches on the pathogenesis and the treatment of the diabetic nephropathy at home and abroad were reviewed,and various potential therapeutic targets of the diabetic nephropathy and the possible mechanisms of treatment were summarized,and more instructional clues can be provided for further exploration of the pathogenesis and the treatment of the diabetic nephropathy.
