Effect of different hemodialysis regimens on cardiac function in uremia patients with hemodialysis |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of different hemodialysis regimens on cardiac function in uremia patients with hemodialysis.Methods A total of 86 patients with uremia who were admitted to Liaoyang Infectious Diseases Hospital from February to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects.All selected cases were divided into two groups according to random number method,with 43 cases in each group.Two groups were given basic treatment,the patients in control group were treated with hemodialysis,and the patients in observation group were treated with hemodialysis and hemoperfusion,with 1 month of treatment in two groups.The cardiac function,renal function,levels of serum indexes and quality of life in the two groups were compared.Results After 1 month of treatment,the left ventricular end diastolic volume (LVEDV) and left ventricular end systolic volume (LVESV) levels of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) levels of the two groups were higher than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6),Angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang-Ⅱ) and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the levels of serum creatinine (SCr) and urea nitrogen(BUN) in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the two groups′ quality of life comprehensive assessment questionnaire (GQOLI-74) scores were higher than those before the treatment,the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).After 1 month of treatment,the levels of LVEDV and LVESV in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the LVEF level was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the levels of IL-6,Ang-Ⅱand BNP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of SCr and BUN in the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the GQOLI-74 scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant significance (P<0.05).Conclusion Single hemodialysis or combined with hemoperfusion in patients with uremia can effectively decrease the levels of inflammatory factors,improve cardiac function and renal function,increase quality of life,and hemodialysis combined with hemoperfusion has better efficacy.
