| Application effect of pre-appointment and education process intervention in day operation under general anesthesia for children in stomatology department |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of pre-appointment and education process intervention in day operation under general anesthesia for children in stomatology department.Methods The clinical data of 124 children who had undergone day operation under general anesthesia in Dalian Stomatological Hospital,Liaoning Province from January to September 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.Subjects were divided into the control group(n=58,routine nursing)and the observation group(n=58,pre-appointment and education process intervention)according to the nursing method.The operation situation,treatment compliance,adverse reactions and family members′ satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The first ambulation time and length of hospital stay of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group,with statistical differences(P＜0.05),and treatment compliance was higher than that of the control group,with statistical difference(P＜0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with statistical difference(P＜0.05).Total satisfaction of family members with processes such as registration and treatment,waiting time for taking medicine and payment,doctor′s diagnosis and treatment and medical staff′s service attitude in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with statistical differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application effect of pre-appointment and education process intervention in children undergoing day operation under general anesthesia in stomatology department can not only shorten the length of hospital stay,improve treatment compliance and reduce postoperative adverse reactions but also improve the family members′ satisfaction.
