Clinical effect of high-flow and humidify oxygen therapy device in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease combined with typeⅡrespiratory failure |

Abstract Objective To study the clinical effect of high-flow and humidify oxygen therapy device in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)combined with type Ⅱrespiratory failure.Methods A total of 64 patients with COPD complicated with type Ⅱrespiratory failure who underwent clinical treatment in Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Group of Bao′an District of Shenzhen City from January 2017 to December 2018 were selected as research objects.They were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,32 cases in each group.On the basis of conventional treatment,in the control group,low-flow oxygen was added,while in the treatment group,AIRV O2 high-flow and humidify oxygen therapy device was added.The therapeutic effect rate,arterial blood gas level between two groups were compared.Results The treatment effectiveness rate of the treatment group was 78.13%,higher than that of the control group accounting for 53.13%,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment,the level of arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure (PaCO2) in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion AIRV O2 high-flow and humidify oxygen therapy device can reduce the partial pressure of PaCO2 in blood gas analysis effectively,and worthy of spreading.
