| Effect of Compound Nutritional Vitamins on children′s nutritional status,growth and development |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of compound nutritional vitamins on children′s nutritional status,growth and development.Methods A prospective study was conducted on 115 children who underwent physical examination in Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Jiangxi Province from March 2018 to July 2019,and they were divided into control group (n=58) and observation group (n=57) according to random number table method.The children in the control group were given single Vitamin A supplement,and the children in the observation group were given Compound Nutritional Vitamins supplement.The nutritional status,growth and development of children and the incidence of malnutrition were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the contents of hemoglobin (Hb),vitamin A,height,weight,calcium,iron and zinc between the two groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the contents of Hb,vitamin A,height,weight,calcium,iron and zinc in the observation group were all higher than those before treatment,and the contents of Hb,vitamin A,height,weight,calcium,iron and zinc in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05).The total incidence of malnutrition in the observation group (7.02%) was lower than that in the control group (20.69%),and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of Compound Nutritional Vitamins for children is good,which can effectively improve the nutritional status of children,promote growth and development,and reduce the incidence of malnutrition.It′s worthy promoting.
