The experimental research on the influence of Silybin on cavies′s skin pigmentation |

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the influence of Silybin on guinea pigs model induced pigmentation by UVB.MethodsBrown yellow guinea pigs were irradiated by ultraviolet ray phototherapy apparatus,the skin pigmentation of guinea pigs model was established,the guinea pigs were divided into blank control group,model group,matrix group,treatment group,and positive control group,there were 40 guinea pigs,each group 8 guinea pigs.Model group,treatment group and positive control group were irradiated by 1 min for 20 days continually,matrix group,treatment group and positive control group were used matrix,silybin and Olay for 30 days,the SOD,CAT,TYR and TRP-2 content in guinea pigs were tested.ResultsCompared with model group,guinea pigs′skin pigment becomes shadow distinctively,SOD,CAT activity in tissue homogenizing fluid becomes high distinctively,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05),TYR,TRP-2 contents decrease distinctively (P<0.05).ConclusionSlybin can inhibit skin pigmentation,the mechanism function may be related to the ability of removal free radicals from oxidative damage and inhabitation of tyrosine′s activity
