| Effect of vocational rehabilitation case management on rehabilitation effect of community schizophrenia patients |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of case management on the rehabilitation of community schizophrenia patients. Methods A total of 120 patients with schizophrenia who were cured and discharged from our hospital were selected. According to the hospitalization file number, the single number was the control group and the double number was the observation group, 60 cases in each group. The control group implemented community case management, the observation group implemented vocational rehabilitation case management, and the two groups′ daily living activity scale (ADL) scores, inpatient psychiatric patients′ rehabilitation effect assessment scale (IPROS) scores, disease recurrence rate, and reemployment rate were compared. Results There were no significant differences in ADL and IPROS scores between the two groups before intervention (P＞0.05). At the end of 3 and 6 months of intervention, the ADL scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.01). At the end of 6 months of intervention, the total IPROS score and the scores of all factors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.01). Comparing the recurrence rates between the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant at the end of 3 months of intervention (P＞0.05)； at the end of 6 months of intervention, the recurrence rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the reemployment rate was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion Occupational rehabilitation case management improves the ability of interpersonal communication and social work of discharged schizophrenia patients, improves the ability of patients to take care of themselves, stabilizes the disease, reduces the recurrence of the disease, and improves the reemployment rate of patients.
