Effect of bedside examination and interactive health education on discharging compliance behavior of patients with double J tube |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of bedside examination interactive health education on the behavior of patients with double J tubes discharged from hospital following doctor′s advice.Methods A total of 122 patients with indwelling double J tubes admitted to our hospital from December 2016 to December 2018 were selected as research objects,and divided into conventional group and observation group according to the single number and double number of inpatient room.The single number was 60 cases in conventional group,and the double number was 62 cases in observation group.The control group was given conventional health education,while the observation group was given bedside examination interactive health education.The two groups of patients were compared in terms of their knowledge,selfmanagement ability,compliance with doctor′s advice and patient satisfaction.Results The patients in the observation group had a higher degree of knowledge and self-management ability,and the patients′ compliance with doctor′s advice and satisfaction than those in the control group,with statistical differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Bedside examination interactive health education can effectively improve the awareness and self-management ability of patients with indwelling double J tubes to health education mode,make patients consciously abide by doctor′s advice,promote rehabilitation and improve patients′ satisfaction with medical nursing.
