| Application of community contracting model in postpartum visits and impact on maternal and child health |

Abstract Objective To study the application of community contracting model in postpartum visits and the impact on maternal and child health.Methods Sixty women who were admitted to the Yingtan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January to December 2018 were selected as subjects.The maternal women were divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method, and 30 patients in each group.The pregnant women in the control group were studied with routine postpartum visits, and the observation group was followed by postpartum visits using the community contract model.The postpartum health status, neonatal health status, and total nursing satisfaction of the two groups of women were compared.Results The incidence rates of insufficient breast milk, poor wound healing, cracked nipples, postpartum bleeding and puerperal infection in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The incidence rates of jaundice, eczema, oral mucosal infection and umbilical cord infection in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Through the application of community contract model in postpartum visit, the postpartum health status of mothers can be effectively improved, and at the same time, the health status of newborns and maternal nursing satisfaction can be effectively improved.
