| Application of targeted nursing in pediatric pneumonia |

Abstract Objective To explore the application of targeted nursing in pediatric pneumonia.Methods A total of 80 cases of pediatric pneumonia patients admitted to our hospital from January to December 2018 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the reference group (n=40) and the targeted group (n=40).Routine nursing method was adopted in the reference group and targeted nursing intervention method was adopted in the targeted group.The nursing effect, symptom disappearance time and nursing satisfaction of family members were compared between the two groups.Results The time of symptom disappearance of each disease in the targeted group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total effective rate of 95.00% in the targeted group, which was higher than that in the control group of 77.50% (P＜0.05).The total satisfaction of nursing for the families of children with in targeted group was 97.50%, which was higher than that in control group of 82.50%, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Targeted nursing for pediatric pneumonia patients can effectively shorten the disappearance time of disease symptoms, improve the nursing effect and nursing satisfaction of children′s families, with significant value.
