Application of interactive health education in nursing of children with pneumonia |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of interactive health education in the nursing of children with pneumonia.Methods A total of 100 cases of children with pneumonia admitted to our hospital from May 2017 to May 2018 were selected as the research object. They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given interactive health education nursing on the basis of the control group. The hospitalization time, antipyretic time, disappearance time of lung moist rale, total nursing efficiency and total nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The hospitalization time,antipyretic time, disappearance time of lung moist rale in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total nursing efficiency and total nursing satisfaction of family member in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion On the basis of routine treatment, children with pneumonia can be assisted by interactive health education nursing, which can significantly shorten hospitalization time, accelerate symptoms subsidence, and obtain satisfactory nursing effect.
