Clinical effect of Budesonide combined with Terbutaline aerosol inhalation in the treatment of patints with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease |

Abstract Objective To study the clinical effect of aerosol inhalation of Budesonide combined with Terbutaline in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods Thirty-six patients with acute exacerbation of COPD treated in our hospital from May 2017 to May 2019 were selected and divided into control group (18 cases) and treatment group (18 cases) by random number table method. The control group was treated with aerosol inhalation Budesonide regimen, while the treatment group was treated with aerosol inhalation Budesonide combined with Terbutaline regimen. The total effective rate of drug treatment, adverse reactions, related indexes of pulmonary function before and after treatment, recovery time of respiratory function and total treatment time were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.4%, higher than 72.2% of the control group; the incidence of adverse reactions was 5.6%, lower than 22.2% of the control group; the forced vital capacity (FVC) and forced expiratory volume per second (FEV1) in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The recovery time and total treatment time were shorter than those in the control group; the total satisfaction of the treatment group was 94.4%, which was higher than 77.8% of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Aerosol inhalation of Budesonide combined with Terbutaline in the treatment of acute exacerbation of COPD can reduce adverse drug reactions, significantly improve pulmonary function, restore respiratory status in a short time, shorten the treatment time,and synchronously improve patient satisfaction and therapeutic effect.
