| Effect of cluster nursing on prevention of complications of breast cancer infusion port |

Abstract Objective To study the effect of cluster nursing on preventing complications of breast cancer infusion port.Methods A total of 1100 breast cancer patients treated in our hospital from January 2013 to June 2018 were selected and divided into study group (550 cases)and control group (550 cases)with reference lottery plus patient admission time.Patients in the control group were received routine nursing,while patients in the study group were received cluster nursing on the basis of routine nursing,the complication rate,quality of life score and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results The total complication rate in the study group was 8.18%,and that in the control group was 45.63%.compared with the corresponding data,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05）.The quality of life scores of patients in the study group were higher than those in the control group in physical function， role function， emotional function,cognitive function and social function.the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05）.The nursing satisfaction of the patients in the study group was 95.64%,and that of the patients in the control group was 68.54%.the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05）.Conclusion During the treatment of breast cancer patients at the infusion port,cluster nursing can not only reduce the probability of complications,optimize the quality of life of patients,but also improve the satisfaction of patients with nursing and promote the further harmonious development of nurse-patient relationship.
