AbstractObjective To explore the clinical value of family members participating in rehabilitation nursing for patients with dysphagia (DAS) after stroke (CAV).Methods A total of 120 patients with DAS after CAV in our hospital from January 2017 to January 2018 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group (n=60)and observation group (n=60) according to random number table method. The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing, the observation group used family members to participate in rehabilitation nursing. The swallowing function score, watian drinking water test classification, hospitalization time, hospitalization expenses and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The swallowing function score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with statistical difference (P<0.05).The grading of watian drinking water test in observation group after nursing was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The hospitalization time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the hospitalization cost was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Family involvement in rehabilitation nursing can improve swallowing function, shorten hospitalization time, reduce hospitalization costs and the incidence of complications in patients with DAS after CAV.
