Value analysis of Vitamin D Drops in the prevention of active rickets in children |

Abstract Objective To investigate the value of Vitamin D Drops in the prevention of active rickets in children.Methods A total of 300 active rickets preventive medication children admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to October 2017 were enrolled in the study.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the observation group(150 cases)and the control group(150 cases).The control group was given Calcium Carbonate Particles to prevent active rickets,the drug was administered for half a year.The observation group was given Calcium Carbonate Granules and Vitamin D Drops to prevent active rickets and continued to use drugs for half a year.The level of serum biochemical parameters such as 25-(OH)D3,serum calcium,blood phosphorus,DPD,BALP were compared between the two groups.The incidence of adverse reactions,the level of 25-(OH)D3,the incidence of active rickets,bone mineral density and BALP at 1 year follow-up were recorded between the two groups.Results There was no significant difference in the level of 25-(OH)D3,serum calcium,serum phosphorus,DPD and BALP between the two groups (P>0.05).The level of 25-(OH)D3,serum calcium,serum phosphorus,DPD and BALP in the observation group after treatment were higher than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).The level of 25-(OH)D3,bone mineral density and BALP at 1 year follow-up in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the incidence of active rickets in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Vitamin D Drops have a good value in preventing active rickets in children.It can also improve serum biochemical indicators and bone density in children,which has high safety,and is worthy of application.
