C反应蛋白和降钙素原在前列腺增生合并尿路感染早期诊断中的临床意义

Abstract ObjectiveTo study the early diagnostic value of C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)in urinary tract infection(UTI)in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).MethodsA prospective study was performed on 77 patients with suspected UTI with BPH in our hospital.According to the urine bacterial culture results,77 cases were divided into infection group(n=49)and control group(n=28).The sensitivity and specificity of CRP and PCT in the diagnosis of UTI patients with BPH,and their correlation were evaluated.ResultsThere was significant difference in CRP and PCT levels between two groups(P<0.01).The area under ROC curve was 0.805 for CRP and 0.859 for PCT respectively in UTI patients with BPH.The sensitivity and specificity of CRP and PCT in the diagnosis of UTI patients with BPH were 89.7%and 87.6%,and 60.7%and 71.4%,respectively.The correlation efficient between CRP and PCT was 0.509(P<0.01).ConclusionSerum levels of CRP and PCT increase in UTI patients with BPH,the detection of serum CRP and PCT levels is helpful to early diagnosis the UTI patients with BPH.
