银川市某三甲医院烧伤住院儿童流行病学分析及其预防策略

Abstract Objective To summarize the epidemiological characteristics of hospitalized children with burns in Ningxia，analyze the main causes of children′s burns and their influencing factors，and formulate the prevention strategies for children with burns.Methods A retrospective survey was conducted to analyze the medical records of hospitalized children with burns in a third-grade class-A hospital from January 2011 to December 2017 in Yinchuan city of Ningxia.Results There were a total of 2551 hospitalized children with burns from 2011 to 2017，including 1548 males and 1003 females.The male to female ratio was about 1.54 to 1.83.9%children were≤3 years old，8.3%were between＞3 and 6 years old，and 7.8%were between ＞6 and 14 years old.Hydrothermal burns accounted for 86.5%of the total burns，and flame burns accounted for 6.6%.Burn rate was 29.1%in summer and 28.0%in spring.The rate of urban burns was 34.2%and that of rural burns was 65.8%.The improvement rate was 59.2%，the cure rate was 37.2%，and the mortality was 0.2%at discharge.There were statistically significant differences between male and female patients in burn types（χ2=12.667，P=0.027）.There were statistically significant differences in burn types among Han，Hui and other ethnic minority children（χ2=4.082，P=0.944）.There were statistically significant differences in the burn types among the three age groups（χ2=597.234，P＜0.01）.There were statistically significant differences in burn types among burn patients in 7 years（χ2=53.877，P=0.005）.There were statistically significant differences in burn types on seasonal distribution （χ2=44.618，P＜0.01）.Conclusion Among the children with burns，most of them are male，and the proportion of infants aged≤3 is the highest.The hydrothermal burn is the main cause of burn injuries.The proportion of rural children is higher than that of urban children.Summer is the highoccurrence season for the burns，followed by spring.
