Clinical effect of Immunoglobulin in the treatment of inflammatory reaction in children with rotavirus enteritis |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of Immunoglobulin in the treatment of inflammatory reaction in children with rotavirus enteritis.Methods Sixty four children with rotavirus enteritis admitted to our hospital from October 1,2016 to February 1,2018 were selected as research subjects.They were divided into control group (32 cases)and observation group (32 cases)according to the random sampling method.The control group received conventional symptomatic treatment and placebo,and the observation group received intravenous Immunoglobulin on the basis of the conventional symptomatic treatment.The fresh feces of the two groups were collected as specimens.The total effective rate of treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α),interleukin-6 (IL-6)and secretory immunoglobulin A(SIgA)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.75%,which was higher than that in the control group(75.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The levels of TNF-α and IL-6 after treatment in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of TNF-α and IL-6 after treatment in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the level of SIgA between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The levels of SIgA on the 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,and 5thdays after treatment in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of SIgA on the 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,and 5thdays after treatment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of Immunoglobulin is significant in the treatment of the inflammatory reaction in children with rotavirus enteritis.
