Analysis of drug resistance and drug resistance gene of group B streptococcus in perinatal women of Huizhou City |

Abstract Objective To analyze the drug resistance and drug resistance gene of group B streptococcus in perinatal women.Methods A total of 657 perinatal women admitted into the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology,Huizhou First Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2016 to September 2017 were selected and their genital secretions were taken for culture and detection of group B streptococcus.Group B streptococcus cultured was given drug susceptibility,and its drug resistance was observed and resistance gene were analyzed.Results Among 657 perinatal women,213 cases of group B streptococcus were detected,the bacterial bearing rate was 32.4%.Among them,the perinatal women with≥30 years old group had a prevalence rate of 42.3%,and the prevalence rate was 29.8%for perinatal women with <30 years old group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The resistance rate of group B streptococcus to Penicillin was 0.8%,Erythromycin was 31.2%,Ceftriaxone was 6.3%,and Levofloxacin was 22.5%.Clindamycin was 25.9%,Tetracycline was 63.2%,Vancomycin was 0.0%,Linezolid was 0.3%,Nitrofuranto was 11.3%,Ampicillin was 2.6%,and D-suppressing zone test was 25.0%.The erythromycin resistance gene is mainly ermB,and two or more ermB gene-positive group B streptococci accounting for 13.5%.The Tetracycline resistance genes were mainly teTM and tetO,tetK and tetL.Conclusion Infected group B streptococcus in perinatal women is higher resistant to Tetracycline and Erythromycin.It should be avoided in clinical treatment.For Penicillin,Vancomycin,Linezolid,Ampicillin,Nitrofurantoin and Ceftriaxone is highly sensitive,and can be treated according to the specific condition of the patients.
