| Clinical effect of uterine artery chemoembolization combined with uterine curettage in the treatment of placenta implantation after vaginal delivery |

Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effect of uterine artery chemoembolization combined with uterine curettage in the treatment of placenta implantation after vaginal delivery.Methods A total of 45 patients with placenta implanation after vaginal delivery who were admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to January 2018 were randomly divided into the observation group(23 cases)and the control group(22 cases).The control group was given drugs for treatment(Mifepristone combined with Methotrexate),and the observation group was treated with uterine artery chemoembolization,if the placenta failed to discharge by itself,the uterus curettage was performed 7 to 10 days after surgery.The therapeutic effect,adverse reactions and recovery(hospitalization time,quality of life questionnaire[SF-36]score)between the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 100.00%,which was higher than that in the control group accounting for 72.73%,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total incidence rate of adverse reactions was 4.35%in the observation group,which was significantly lower than that in the control group(31.82%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The hospitalization time of the observation group was(10.3±3.1)d,which was significantly shorter than that of the control group accounting for(15.1±4.9)d,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The score of SF-36 in the observation group was(91.3±5.9)points,which was significantly higher than that in the control group accounting for(79.9±6.3)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Uterine artery chemoembolization combined with uterine curettage is effective in the treatment of placenta implantation after vaginal delivery.It can significantly shorten the hospitalization time and reduce the incidence rate of adverse reactions,and also reduce the risk of removing the uterus and losing fertility,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
