| Effect of comfortable nursing on prevention of deep vein thrombosis in patients with multiple fractures of lower extremities |

Abstract Objective To study the effect of comfortable nursing on the prevention of deep vein thrombosis in patients with multiple fractures of lower extremities.Methods From May 2015 to August 2017,84 patients with multiple fractures of lower extremity admitted into our hospital were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups for nursing,42 cases in each group.In control group,routine clinical nursing was used,while in research group,on the basis of the control group,comfortable nursing was adopted.The effect of two nursing methods to prevent deep vein thrombosis was comapred.Results The rate of deep vein thrombosis in the research group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05）.The hospital stay of the research group was shorter,the quality of life score was higher,and visual analogue scale score was lower compared with those of the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05）.Conclusion Clinically，the use of comfortable nursing to treat patients with multiple fractures of the lower extremities can effectively prevent the occurrence of deep vein thrombosis and is worthy of promotion.
