| Application effect of preventive nursing measures for adverse reactions in percutaneous transforaminal discectomy |

Abstract Objective To investigate the preventive and nursing measures for adverse reactions of percutaneous transforaminal discectomy.Methods From January 2016 to March 2017,92 patients with lumbar disc herniation underwent percutaneous transforaminal discectomy in our hospital were enrolled.According to envelope randomization,they were equally divided into regular group and experimental group,46 cases in each group.In the regular group,traditional nursing measure was used,while in the experimental group,preventive nursing measure on adverse reactions was provided.The nursing effect in the two groups was compared.Results The postoperative exhaust time,postoperative offbed time and hospital stay were significantly shorter in the experimental group than in the regular group(P<0.05）.The hospitalization cost in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the regular group(P<0.05）.The visual analogue scale(VAS)score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the regular group(P<0.05）.The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group and the regular group were 8.70%and 23.91%,respectively,and the incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was lower,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05）.Conclusion The preventive nursing on adverse reactions in patients undergoing percutaneous transforaminal discectomy can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,shorten the hospital stay,and promote the early recovery of the disease.
