肺良性转移性平滑肌瘤1例报道并文献复习

Abstract Benign metastasizing leiomyoma (BML)is a rare benign disease with a slowly grown pattern.The condition typically affects women of reproductive age with a history of uterine leiomyoma,and the lung is the main site of metastasis.The clinical and pathological data of 1 patient with pulmonary benign metastatic leiomyoma(PBML)were analyzed.The chest computed tomography(CT)scan revealed multiple well-defined nodules with clear boundaries located in both lungs.A biopsy of the uterine neoplasm suggested that a cellular leiomyoma of the uterus.Pulmonary nodule biopsy revealed smooth muscle cell hyperplasia,lung nodule morphology is similar to uterine tumors,immunohistochemistry suggested that it originated from smooth muscle cells,and it was consistent with the diagnosis of PBML.Estrogen and progesterone receptors were detected in uterine leiomyoma and lung nodules.After 15 months of follow-up,no recurrence is found.The clinical manifestations of PBML are lack of specificity.Surgical resection is the main treatment.Tumors are hormone dependent and can be treated with endocrine therapy.
