| Application effect of ultrasound-guided thoracic paravertebral nerve block in minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of ultrasound-guided thoracic paravertebral nerve block in minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy.Methods A total of 60 cases of patients who undergone minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy in our hospital from February 2017 to February 2018 were selected as the research subjects,and they were divide into the control group(30 cases)and the study group(30 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group was given epidural anesthesia,and the study group was treated with ultrasound-guided thoracic paravertebral block anesthesia.The anesthetic effect,heart rate (HR),systolic pressure(SBP)and diastolic pressure(DBP)before anesthesia(T0),5 min after anesthesia(T1),start of surgery(T2),and end of surgery(T3),and postoperative adverse reactions were compared and analyzed between two groups.Results The onset time,anesthetic time and operative time of the study group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The SBP and DBP at T1time point in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total rate of adverse reactions in the study group was 3.33%,which was significantly lower than that of the control group (23.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound guided thoracic paravertebral nerve block is effective in minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy,with fewer adverse reactions and faster postoperative recovery,which can be widely applied in clinical practice.
