| Clinical effect of arthroscopic rotator cuff repair in the treatment of rotator cuff injury |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of arthroscopic rotator cuff repair in the treatment of rotator cuff injury.Methods Thirty patients with rotator cuff injuries from January 2013 to January 2016 were selected as the subjects,and divided into two groups according to different therapeutic methods,with 15 cases in each group.In control group,open surgery was used,while in the observation group,arthroscopic rotator cuff repair was adopted.The effect of of rotator cuff repair,the healing time of rotator cuff injury,shoulder function,activity of daily living and pain before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The hospital stay of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,the postoperative drainage volume,incision length and blood loss in the observation group were significantly less than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The healing time of the rotator cuff injury of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no great difference in shoulder function,activity of daily living or pain before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the shoulder function,activity of daily living and pain in the observation group were better than those in the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair is effective for the treatment of rotator cuff injury.It can effectively promote the healing of rotator cuff injuries,relieve pain,improve mobility and activity of daily living,and is worthy of application and promotion.
