| Effect of Enalapril combined with Trimetazidine in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic heart failure |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of Enalapril combined with Trimetazidine in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic heart failure(CHF)and the effect on N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)and cardiac function.Methods A total of 96 elderly patients with CHF treated in our hospital from November 2016 to October 2017 were selected as objects.They were randomly divided into research group and control group according to the random number table method,with 48 cases in each group.In the control group,Trimetazidine was used on the basis of routine treatment,and in the research group,Enalapril was adopted on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the NT-proBNP and cardiac function indexes before and after treatment between the two groups were compared.Results The total therapeutic effective rate of the research group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the level of Left Ventricular Ejection Fractions(LVEF)in the research group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the levels of Left Ventricular End-Diastolic dimension (LVEDD),Left Ventricular End-Systolic Diameter(LVESD)and NT-proBNP were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Enalapril combined with Trimetazidine is effective in the treatment of elderly patients with CHF,which can significantly improve the NT-proBNP level and cardiac function of patients,and is worthy of clinical application.
