| Effect of interventional psychological nursing on treatment compliance and relapse rate in patients with depression |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of interventional psychological care on the treatment compliance and relapse rate in patients with depression.Methods 80 patients with first-episode depression who were admitted to our hospital from January to December 2014 were randomly selected.They were evenly divided into observation group and control group.After admission,both groups were given conventional antidepressant treatment and nursing.In the observation group,besides the previous treatment,interventional psychological nursing was added.After 3-month intervention,the treatment compliance,the Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)score,and recurrence rate after 2-year follow up visits were compared between the two groups.Results After 3 months of intervention,the compliance of the observation group was better than that of the control group with a statistical difference(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in HAMD score between the two groups on admission(P＞0.05).After 3-month intervention,the HAMD score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group which differed significantly(P＜0.05).After 2 years of followup,the recurrence rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion Application of interventional psychological care such as psychological cognitive therapy,psychoanalytic therapy,health activities support and family psychosocial support in patients with depression can improve the treatment compliance and reduce the HAMD score and the recurrence rate.Interventional psychological care has played a positive role in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with depression,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
