| Clinical study of Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Dipyridamole Injection in the treatment of young and middle-aged patients with acute cerebral infarction |

Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Dipyridamole Injection (GLEDI)in the treatment of young and middle-aged patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 100 patients with acute cerebral infarction who were admitted to neurology department of our hospital from January 2016 to June 2017 were randomly selected as the objects of this study and divided into two groups according to the random number table method,50 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were given conventional treatment,and the patients in the observation group were treated with Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Dipyridamole Injection based on the control group.The clinical efficacy,NIHSS scores,serum Hcy,hs-CRP and Barthel scores were compared between the two groups after intervention with different medication regimens.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.00%(46/50),which was significantly higher than that of the control group (80.00%,40/50),the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Before treatment,the NIHSS scores were compared in both groups,and the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).After treatment,the NIHSS scores of the observation group was(2.5±0.3)points,which was significantly lower than that of the control group of(6.5±0.8)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,the levels of serum Hcy and hs-CRP were compared in both groups,and the differences were not statistically significant (P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum Hcy and hs-CRP of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,the Barthel scores were compared in both groups,and the difference was not statistically significant (P＞0.05).After treatment,the NIHSS scores of the observation group was(78.9±5.3)points,which was significantly higher than that of the control group of(63.1±1.9)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Application of Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Dipyridamole Injection has definite therapeutic effect and good clinical curative effect in treatment of young and middle-aged patients with acute cerebral infarction.It plays an important role in improving the patients′neurological function,serum level and the prognosis of activities of daily living,which is worthy of popularization and application.
