Abstract Objective To compare IVF/ICSI promoting gestation outcomes of patients with ovarian reserve function dec1ine that resu1t from artfu1 bursa (ovarian endometria1 cyst) or from other reasons. Methods 198 ovarian reserve function dec1ine patients from October 2014 to Ju1y 2015 in our center whose IVF/ICSI promoting gestation age were 1ess than 40 years were se1ected from our center (a tota1 of 311 cyc1es).Patients were divided into two groups according to whether combined with artfu1 bursa (postoperative or not operation) or not: group A，ovarian reserve function dec1ine patients combined with artfu1 bursa；group B，varian reserve function dec1ine patients did not combine with artfu1 bursa.The basica1 situation，contro1 over stimu1ate ovu1ation re1ated data，1aboratory re1ated data and gestation outcomes of two groups were compared by using retrospective case-contro1 ana1ysis. Results There were no statistica1 significance between two groups in ART project，over stimu1ate ovu1ation project，Gn initia1 amount，Gn tota1 amount，get ovum number，2PN number，advantages embryo number，number of transferred embryos，transp1antation rate，pregnancy rate，abortion rate，ectopic pregnancy rate，sing1e pregnancy rate and mu1tip1e pregnancy rate (P＞0.05).A1though the average age of ovarian reserve function dec1ine patients that resu1t from artfu1 bursa was obvious 1ower than non artfu1 bursa group [(33.67± 0.34) years vs (35.04±0.19) years，P＜0.01] and basica1 FSH was obvious 1ower than non artfu1 bursa group [(9.85±0.46) mIU/m1 vs (11.79±0.34) mIU/m1，P＜0.01]，the good embryo rate was obvious 1ower than non artfu1 bursa group (13.76% vs 25.42%，P＜0.01). Conclusion Comparing the ovarian reserve function dec1ine between resu1t from artfu1 bursa and non artfu1 bursa，the good embryo rate has decreased obvious1y.So，we can pre1iminari1y conc1ud that artfu1 bursa a1so make the egg qua1ity dec1ine at the same at 1eading to decrease ovarian reserve function.
