Analysis of the clinical application value of tracheal intubation by visual laryngoscopy combined with fiberoptic bronchoscopy in intubation with difficult airway |

Abstract ObjectiveTo analyze the clinical application value of tracheal intubation by visual laryngoscopy combined with fiberoptic bronchoscopy in intubation with difficult airway.Methods82 patients with difficult airway who were treated in our hospital from September 2014 to September 2016 were selected and randomly divieded into observation group and control group,41 cases in each group.The observation group was intubated by visual laryngoscopy combined with fiberoptic bronchoscopy while the control group was intubated by visual laryngoscopy.The one-time success rate, the time of intubation and the complication rate between two groups were compared,the change of the vital signs before and after intubation were observed.ResultsThe difference of the MAP,HR and SpO2before and 3 minutes after intubation were no significant differenecs in both groups(P>0.05),the changes of MAP,HR and SpO2between two groups had no statisticant differences(P>0.05).The time of intubation in observation group was significantly lower than that of control group(t=46.0993,P<0.01);the one-time success rate of observation group was 95.12%,which was significantly higher than that of control group of 80.49%(χ2=4.1000,P<0.05).The complication rate in observation group was 9.76%, which was significantly lower than that of control group of 31.71%(χ2=6.0109,P<0.05).ConclusionThe applicaiton of tracheal intubation by visual laryngoscopy combined with fiberoptic bronchoscopy in difficult airway can significantly enhance the success rate and reduce compllication in intubation with difficult airway.
