| Effect of time-efficient encouraging nursing on early rehabilitation effects in patients with COPD |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of time-efficient encouraging nursing on the early rehabilitation effects in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods 76 patients with COPD who were admitted to our hospital from August 2013 to August 2015 were randomly divided into the observation group and control group,38 cases in each group.The control group were given routine nursing intervention,and the observation group were given time-efficient encouraging nursing.The treatment compliance,pulmonary function indexes[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),the ratio of actual value and the predicted value(FEV1%)]and blood gas indexes[partial pressure of arterial oxygen(PaO2),partial pressure of arterial carbon dioxide(PaCO2),hydrogen ion concentration index(pH)]were compared between two groups.Results The treatment compliance of the observation group was 84.21%,significantly higher than that of the control group of 57.89%(P＜0.05).After nursing intervention,FVC,FEV1, FEV1%lung function index of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group(P＜0.05).After nursing intervention,levels of pH and PaO2in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05),while PaCO2was significantly lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of time-efficient encouraging nursing in patients with COPD can significantly improve the treatment compliance and pulmonary function indexes of patients.The level of arterial blood gas can be restored.It is conducive to the early rehabilitation of patients and worthy of promotion.
