Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of early psychological intervention and behavior management in the treatment of diabetic foot.Methods 180 diabetic foot patients from January 2015 to July 2016 in our hospital were selected.They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,and each group was 90 cases.Patients in control group were used general psychological intervention and behavior management,and the experimental group was used early psychological intervention and behavior management.SAS and SDS score when out of the hospital and the standard rate of self-management behavior after nursing between two groups were compared.Results SAS and SDS score in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group when out of the hospital,with the significant differences(P＜0.01).After nursing,the diet control,foot care,self-monitoring of blood glucose,planning exercise,high blood glucose management in experimental group were significantly better than those in control group,with the significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion The effect of early psychological intervention and behavior management in patients with diabetic foot is obvious,which can improve the anxiety and depression of the patients,improve their self-care management behavior compliance rate and it is worth popularizing and applying in clinic.
