| Application of PDCA cycle management method in the management of sterile items in operation room |

Abstract ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of PDCA cycle method for the management of sterile items of the operation room operation room.MethodsFrom January to June 2015,traditional method was used to manage the sterile items of operation room(control group),from July to December 2015,PDCA cycle method was used to manage the sterile items of operation room(observation group).The completion rate,overdue rate and replenishment rate of two groups were compared.ResultsThe completion rate,overdue rate and replenish rate of observation group were 100.0%,0.0%and 99.0%, respectivly,while those of controt group were 80.0%,9.0%and 85.0%,respectivly,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).ConclusionThe PDCA cycle method for the management of stenile items of operation room is superior to the trational methid.
