Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy of TP regimen adjuvant neoadjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of locally advanced esophageal carcinoma,and to provide a reliable basis for the treatment of locally advanced esophageal cancer.Methods34 patients with locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma who were hospitalized in our hospital from January 2014 to March 2016 were enrolled.All patients underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy with TP regimen. The efficacy and adverse reaction were evaluated every 2 cycles.2-4 cycles after surgery,surgery can not be given for radical radiotherapy patients,and efficacy and safety of patients after treatment in patients were observed.ResultsAmong 34 patients,3 cases were complete remission after neoadjuvant chemotherapy,accounting for 8.82%,15 cases of partial remission,accounting for 44.12%;stable 15 cases,accounting for 44.12%,1 case of disease,accounting for 2.94%.The total efficiency rate was 52.94%.23 cases(67.65%)were treated with radical resection,accounting for 12 cases(35.29%),8 cases (grade 2,23.53%),3 cases(grade 3,8.82%),1 case(grade 4,2.94%)and it had no grade 5 of adverse reaction.ConclusionThe neoadjuvant chemotherapy of TP regimen can effectively reduce the tumor volume,improve the resection rate and mild adverse reaction in the treatment of locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
