Abstract ObjectiveTo investigate influence of path based health education on negative emotions and life quality in patients with lung cancer.Methods64 patients with lung cancer were selected in hospital from December 2015 to December 2016,who were randomly divided into two groups.32 patients received traditional health education as control group,32 patients received path based health education as observation group.Negative emotion,life quality,nursing effect were compared between two groups.ResultsAfter health education,SAS score and SDS score in two groups was decreased compared with before health education,and SAS score[(36.5±2.7)points],SDS score[(30.2±1.6)points]in observation group were lower than those of the control group[(46.2±3.9),(36.1±2.8)points],the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);psychological function score,physical function score,role function score,cognitive function score,social function score increased in two groups,psychological function score[(61.3±4.2)points],physical function score[(51.6±4.7)points],role function score[(63.9±3.1)points],cognitive function score[(68.5±3.0)points],social function score[(64.3±2.7)points],health education compliance rate(93.8%),treatment compliance(90.6%),nursing satisfaction(96.9%)in observation group were higher than control group [(50.2±3.4)points,(43.8±3.6)points,(54.6±3.8)points,(57.9±4.2)points,(55.7±3.5)points,56.2%,62.5%,80.0%],the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionPath based health education can improve negative emotions of patients with lung cancer,which can also improve their life quality and worth of clinical application.
