Objective To explore the application effect of advanced respiratory management combined with diversified health education in stroke lung rehabilitation. Methods A total of 60 stroke patients admitted to Jiujiang No.1 People's Hospital from June 2021 to August 2022 were selected and divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine rehabilitation training combined with routine health education, while the observation group received advanced respiratory management combined with diversified health education, with continuous intervention for 2 months. The pulmonary function, muscles of respiration function, exercise endurance, daily living ability, functional exercise compliance and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in lung function, muscles of respiration function, exercise endurance and activity of daily living between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).After 2 months of intervention, the forced expiratory volume(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),FEV1/FVC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the maximum inspiratory pressure (MIP),maximum expiratory pressure (MEP)were higher than those in the control group, the 6-minute walking distance (6MWD) was longer than that in the control group, and the modified Barthel index rating scale(MBI)score was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The compliance with functional exercise and patient satisfaction in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Advanced respiratory management combined with diversified health education can effectively improve the pulmonary function and muscles of respiration function of stroke patients, enhance exercise endurance, daily living ability, and improve functional exercise compliance and patient satisfaction.
