Application of autologous concentrated growth factor combined with Bovine Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor External Gel in wound repair |

Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of autologous concentrated growth factor (CGF) combined with Bovine Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor(bFGF)Gel in the repair of deep burn wounds.Methods A total of sixty four patients with deep burn admitted to the first people's Hospital of Jiujiang from February 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects and they were divided into gel group(32 cases)and combined group(32 cases)according to random number table method.The gel group was treated with bFGF External Gel repair,and the combined group was treated with CGF combined with bFGF External Gel repair.The wound recovery,inflammatory factor levels (C-reactive protein [CRP],interleukin-6 [IL-6],white blood cell count [WBC]),pain,scar and treatment effect of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the combined group was higher than that of the gel group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of CRP,IL-6 and WBC in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the combined group was lower than that in the gel group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in pain scores,time points and interactions between the two groups(P<0.05).After 7 and 14 days of treatment,the pain in the combination group was lower than that in the gel group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scar pigmentation,blood circulation,scar texture,scar thickness and the total score of Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS)in the combined group were lower than those in the gel group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of CGF combined with bFGF gel in the repair of burn wound can not only accelerate the healing and repair of skin wound,reduce the level of serum inflammatory factors,reduce the pain of patients,but also reduce scar hyperplasia.
