Abstract Recurrent pyogenic cholangitis is a serious disease with sudden onset and rapid progression,which can lead to chills,high fever,abdominal pain,shock and other symptoms.The condition is complex and changeable,which brings great threat to the life and health of patients.In recent years,with the development of imaging,the diagnosis rate and treatment success rate of recurrent pyogenic cholangitis have gradually increased.However,due to the initial disease manifestations of recurrent pyogenic cholangitis are sometimes atypical,and easy to overlap with other diseases,leading to aggravation of the disease and even life-threatening patients.Therefore,how to diagnose the disease in a short time and give early intervention to improve the prognosis of patients is still a great challenge for clinicians.A case of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was reported in the Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical College,after admission to hospital,after admission to the hospital,the patient was diagnosed as acute obstructive suppurative cholangitis according to the changes of his condition and the results of auxiliary examination,the successful cases of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopanchography and anti-infective treatment for recurrence after improvement of the condition provide treatment ideas for clinicians to diagnose and treat recurrent suppurative cholangitis.
