Abstract Objective To investigate the pelvic floor surface electromyograpy of deuteripara, and to provide relevant clinical basis for promoting the rehabilitation of pelvic floor. Methods A total of 7 629 deuteripara who received pelvic floor screening in Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital from December 2019 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects. The pelvic floor electromyography values were collected using Glazer pelvic floor surface electromyography evaluation scheme, and they were divided into vaginal delivery-cesarean section group (631 cases, numbered "group 1"),cesarean delivery-cesarean section group (158 cases, numbered "group 2"),cesarean delivery-cesarean section group (2 202 cases, numbered "group 3") and vaginal delivery-cesarean section group (4 638 cases, numbered "group 4") according to the delivery mode. The characteristics of pelvic floor electromyography values in the four groups were compared. Results The mean value of the pre-resting stage, the maximum value of rapid contraction, the mean value of tension contraction stage, the mean value of endurance contraction stage and the mean value of post-resting stage in group 1 were higher than those in group 2 and group 4,but lower than those in group 3,with statistical significances (P <0.05).The mean value of the pre-resting stage, the maximum value of rapid contraction, the mean value of tension contraction stage, the mean value of endurance contraction stage and the mean value of post-resting stage in group 3 were higher than those in group 2 and group 4,with statistical significances (P<0.05).Conclusion The characteristics of pelvic floor surface electromyography of deuteripara are mainly related to the delivery mode of deuteripara.Vaginal delivery has greater damage to the pelvic floor muscle than cesarean section, which has a protective effect on the pelvic floor muscle, but easily leads to an increase in resting potential.
