Abstract Objective To evaluate the effect of lacrimal duct lithiasis curettage combined with Gatifloxacin Eye Gel injection in the treatment of canaliculitis.Methods A total of 60 patients(60 eyes)with canaliculitis treated in Jiujiang First People's Hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected and divided into group A and group B according to random number table method,with 30 cases (30 eyes) in each group.Group A was treated with lacrimal duct lithiasis curettage+0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection rinse,group B was treated with lacrimal duct lithiasis curettage+0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection rinse+Gatifloxacin Eye Gel injection,and the patients were followed up for 3 months.The curative effect was compared between the two groups and the complications were observed.Results The total effective rate was 80%in group A and 100% in group B,the clinical treatment effect and recurrence rate of group B were better than group A,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05),and there were no adverse complications during follow-up.Conclusion The effect of lacrimal duct lithiasis curettage combined with Gatifloxacin Eye Gel injection in the treatment of canaliculitis is accurate,without adverse complications,lower relapse rates,it is worthy of clinical promotion.
