Abstract Objective To investigate the influencing factors of hyperuricemia in maintenance peritoneal dialysis patients. Methods The clinical data of 74 peritoneal dialysis patients from January 2015 to December 2018 were retrospectively selected from the Department of Nephrology,People's Hospital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, they were divided into 39 cases in the hyperuricemia group and 35 cases in the normal blood uric acid group according to the serum uric acid level. The laboratory and clinical data of the two groups were compared, and the influencing factors were analyzed by logistic regression. Results The incidence of diabetes in normal uric acid group was lower than that in hyperuricemia group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).There were no significant differences in age, gender, incidence of hypertension and incidence of coronary heart disease between the two groups(P>0.05).The levels of plasma albumin(Alb),prealbumin (pAlb),blood urea nitrogen (BUN),serum creatinine (Scr),serum phosphorus (P),parathyroid hormone (iPTH)and triglyceride (TG)in the normal uric acid group were lower than those in the hyperuricemia group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The level of high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C)in the normal uric acid group was higher than that in the hyperuricemia group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the hemoglobin (Hb),total protein (TP),total bilirubin (TBil),alkaline phosphatase (ALP),β2-microglobulin (β2-MG),calcium (Ca),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP),vitamin D (VD),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),blood cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) between the two groups (P>0.05).The result of multifactorial logistic regression analysis showed that TG(OR=3.650,95%CI:1.072-12.431,P<0.05)was an independent risk factor for hyperuricemia in peritoneal dialysis patients.HDL-C(OR=0.066,95%CI:0.005-0.878,P<0.05)was a protective factor for hyperuricemia in peritoneal dialysis patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of hyperuricemia in peritoneal dialysis patients is high.TG is an independent risk factor for the development of hyperuricemia in peritoneal dialysis patients, and HDL-C is a protective factor for the development of hyperuricemia in peritoneal dialysis patients. Therefore, the management of serum uric acid in peritoneal dialysis patients should be given high priority.
