Application effect of emergency department information transformation in optimizing the emergency service process |

Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of emergency department informatization transformation in optimizing emergency service process.Methods A total of 170 patients from January 2020 to December 2021 in the Department of Emergency,Xiamen Haicang Hospital was selected as the research objects,and 85 patients from January to December 2020 were selected as the control group to implement the routine treatment process,while 85 patients from January to December 2021 were selected as the experimental group and implemented the medical process after the implementation of information technology transformation.The accuracy of pre-examination and triage,missed diagnosis rate,misdiagnosis rate,specialist intervention time,test acquisition time,examination acquisition time,residence time,treatment compliance,rescue success rate,adverse event rate and satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups.Results The missed diagnosis rate,misdiagnosis rate and total incidence rate of adverse event in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,and the accuracy rate and rescue success rate of pre-inspection and triage were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).The specialty intervention time,test acquisition time,test acquisition time and retention time of experimental group were shorter than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total treatment compliance and total satisfaction of experimental group were higher than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of emergency department informatization transformation can improve patient compliance,reduce the waiting time of patients related to examinations,reduce the missed rate of pre-examination and triage and the rate of adverse events,improve the success rate of rescue,and ultimately improve the overall satisfaction of emergency patients.
