Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the nursing and application effect of health education in patientswith glucocorticoidinduced osteoporosis.M ethods70 patients with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis in our department from January 2015 to June 2016 were selected and were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,while the observation group was given systematic health education nursing.The rate of healthy education achieved,treatment compliance,nursing satisfaction,hospitalization time and the levels of health belief and self-efficacy before and after nursing were compared between two groups.ResultsThe rate of healthy education achieved,treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the hospitalization time was shorter than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before nursing,there were no significant differences on the scores of health belief and self-efficacy between two groups(P＞0.05);after nursing,the scores of health belief and self-efficacy in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differenceswere statistically significant(P＜0.01).ConclusionThe implementation of targeted health education and nursing care for patients with steroid induced osteoporosis,the treatment compliance of patients significantly improved,effectively reduce the length of hospital stays,improve nursing satisfaction,which has a significant effect.
