Application effect of health education model mediated by Plan-Do-Check-Action mode in Parkinson disease patients |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of health education model mediated by Plan-Do-Check-Action(PDCA) mode in Parkinson disease patients. Methods A total of 48 patients with Parkinson′s disease who were admitted to the Second Department of Neurology, Hongqi Hospital Affiliated to Mudanjiang Medical College from September 2019 to September 2021 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group (24 cases)and the observation group (24 cases) by random number table method. The control group adopted the conventional education model, and the observation group adopted the PDCA-mediated health education model. The cognitive function,quality of life and sleep index of the two groups were compared. Results Before intervention, there was no significant difference in Montreal cognitive scale (MoCA) score between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the MoCA scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the MoCA score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the scores of the comprehensive assessment of quality of life (GQOLI-74) between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the GQOLI-74 scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and the GQOLI-74 score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Before intervention,there was no significant difference in the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI)score between the two groups(P>0.05). After intervention, the PSQI score of the two groups was higher than that before intervention, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the PSQI score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The PDCA-mediated health education model has a positive effect on the improvement of the quality of life of Parkinson disease patients.
