Objective To investigated the application effect of Sevoflurane inhalation induction combined with Fentanyl-Propofol general anesthesia methods in the resection of chalazion in children. Methods A total of 94 children who underwent the resection of chalazion (ASA grade Ⅰor Ⅱ) in Guangzhou Panyu Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into the control group (47 cases) and the study group (47 cases) according to random number table methods. The patients in the control group were anesthetized with 3% Sevoflurane and oxygen flow of 2 L/min after induction, and the patients in the study group were anesthetized with Fentanyl 1 μg/kg intravenously 10 and 5 minutes before the operation, and Propofol 10 mg/kg was continuously pumped to maintain anesthesia. The vital signs, recovery time, number of body movements, restlessness rate in recovery period and clinical satisfaction of operators were compared between the two groups. Results All the patients were completed the operation successfully. There were no significant differences in the age, gender, height and weight between the two groups (P＞0.05). There were no significant differences in the blood oxygen, respiratory depression and recovery time between the two groups (P＞0.05). The number of body movements in the study group was less than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The restlessness time in recovery period of the patients in the study group was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The clinical satisfaction of operators in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion The anesthesia effect of Sevoflurane induction combined Fentanyl-Propofol in the resection of chalazion in children is better,which is more easily accepted by operators,and is worthy of promotion.
