Effect of quality control circle and delicacy management on the intestinal cleanliness of the patients with colonic polyps |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effectiveness of quality control circle (QCC) and Delicacy management (DM)on the intestinal cleanliness of the patients with colonic polyps. Methods Eighty patients with colonic polyps hospitalized in the Jiujiang No. 1 People′s Hospital from January to July 2021 and underwent routine electric colonoscopy were enrolled. The patients were assigned as the control group (n=40) and the observation group (n=40) using the random number table. The control group patients took the medicine conventionally to cleanse their intestinal canal after the guide of the doctor in charge and the primary nurse. Whereas the observation group patients were intervened with QCC and DM in order to analyze the intestinal cleanliness and the incidence of adverse events of the two groups. Results The intestinal cleanliness rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The occurrence rates of anxiety, abdominal distention, nausea and vomiting, debilitation of the observation group were lower that of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of QCC and DM can effectively improve intestinal cleanliness of the patients with colonic polyps, enlarge the doctor′s field of vision operating microscopic examination, save time on endoscope operation and reduce the adverse events of bowel preparation, therefore alleviating patients′ pain and improve their satisfaction.
